California State University, San Bernardino will once again host its free Summer Wednesdays Concert Series.
The shows will take place in the Lower Commons for four consecutive weeks and will start at 7 p.m. Most performances will last approximately two hours and conclude by 9 p.m. Admission to the concerts is free, and parking is complimentary in Lot D. Concertgoers are encouraged to bring picnic baskets, lawn chairs, blankets and love of music.

On July 7, CSUSB welcomes The Latin Society. Currently in its 37th year of performing in the Inland Empire and Southern California, The Latin Society has one of the best big band Latin sounds with tunes such as “Guantanamera,” “Oye Como Va,” and “Hot, Hot, Hot.” The 14-member group appeals to a wide audience and has performed at many local venues. The band boasts a unique Latin flavor and horn section arrangements that inspire listeners to get up and dance.

The Summer Wednesdays Concert Series is sponsored by Cal State San Bernardino’s President’s Office, the Santos Manuel Student Union, Coussoulis Arena, academic computing and media services, the music department, the College of Extended Learning, and the San Bernardino Sun newspaper.
